2017 Branch Out

Thank you for attending the successful 2015 Branch Out Conference.  We hope that you enjoyed the experience and are inspired to participate in the planning for the 2017 Branch Out Conference
 
Please join us at our initial planning meeting on Thursday, April 21st 4:00-6:00 pm at the Southdale Library Staff Conference Room or by Skype. 
 
Here are the agenda items we have planned:
1.    Review of the 2015 Branch Out Conference and discussion of the Survey Monkey results
2.    Selection of 2017 Branch Out Conference Chair or Co-Chairs
3.    Discussion of 2017 Branch Out Conference title, theme & logo
4.    Forming 2017 Branch Out conference planning teams and team members
a.    Venue Selection Team
b.    Speaker Selection Team
c.    Marketing Team—Social Media, Website, Brochures
d.    Book Exchange Team—this was a popular activity at past conferences and survey responses requested that it be repeated or expanded
e.    Prize/giveaway Team
f.     Hotel/Accommodation Team
g.    Ancillary Team--Site seeing/local interest/evening networking & entertainment/restaurant recommendations  
h.    Registration Team
 
We welcome your ideas and look forward to meeting with you on the 21st.  Please give some thought to these agenda items and if you might be interested in working on a team or two.
